Oversee and maintain critical IT infrastructure, including VMware, Nutanix, Commvault, SolarWinds, Microsoft Exchange, and Office 365, ensuring system reliability, security, and performance for enterprise operations.
Collaboration with Application Teams:

Virtualization Management:

Create and deploy virtual machines (VMs) in VMware and Nutanix environments as per application team requests, ensuring timely resource availability.

Led a successful VM migration project from VMware to Nutanix, executing planning, testing, and implementation phases to enhance infrastructure efficiency.

Physical Server Management:

Microsoft Exchange & Office 365 Administration:

SolarWinds Monitoring:

Conduct daily monitoring of CPU, RAM, and disk utilization across banking systems using SolarWinds, analyzing trends to preemptively address performance risks.

System administrator of Kaspersky Security Center (KSC) by close monitoring and ensuring that entire system is safe from threats.

Assigned to standby 24-hours for troubleshoot any trouble ticket that reported by agency.

Carry out 2nd level restoration procedure as well as monitor and maintain update of all Trouble Tickets to ensure all faults attended and restored to achieve Service Level Agreement.

Subject Matter Expert – Antivirus Management, Virtual Tape Library (VTL), Data Voice Archiving (DVA)

Managing antivirus endpoint by using Kaspersky Security Center that used by over 700 devices that include workstations and servers.

Keep updating the version of Network Agent and Kaspersky application for all possible workstations and servers that using Windows operating system.

Multiple level of backup where VTL as a 3rd level backup after SAN storage backup.

Analyze and set the backup specification and time due to file will be transferring through the WAN and LAN between data center that causing the time consumption.

By using HP Operation Orchestration (HPOO) to managing the flow of the jobs running where to archive the data such as call card detail and voice from voice logger.

Dealing and assist with customer (agencies) on their request that related to technical. Agencies involved are Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM), Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia (JBPM), Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM), Angkatan Pertahanan Awam (APM), and Agensi Penguatkuasaan Maritim Malaysia (APMM).
Performance Analysis

Do the analysis on threats log by Kaspersky for later action taking to resolving the issue.

Monitoring server performance where to know the server availability, capacity and responsiveness of the server to prevent any issue that might interfere that server performance.

Perform software and application testing by executing Verification Acceptance Test (VAT) with various test cases before deployment to production.
Documentation and Reporting

Documenting the performance of the system and server based on daily, weekly and monthly checklist to ensure the performance in good condition time to time.

To lead on documenting for ISO27001: Information Security Management System that related to endpoint protection management, virtual tape library and capacity management such as Operation Procedure (OP) and Work Instruction (WI).

To summarize the activity of preventive maintenance work by vendor and presenting to the management.

Preparing User Acceptance Test (UAT) document for agencies.
Quality Improvement

Perform Preventive Maintenance twice in a year that related to CAD system, Virtual Tape Library, Data Voice Archiving and Business Intelligence were located at 7 data centers.

Lead in planning, executing and monitoring any Planned and Preventive Maintenance Works (PMW) activities related to MERS 999 system (specifically to Antivirus, CAD, Reporting and Backup) in ensuring high system availability and service quality.
